Tree Risk Assessment
All trees come with some form of risk. Typically, most risk is minimal and can be lessened by targeted pruning, tree support systems, adjustments to the growing environment or other measures.
Some examples of common failures that can occur are:
Complete catastrophic failure of a tree originating at ground level
Dead branches throughout the upper canopy falling onto the ground
Branch attachment defects which cause entire branches, or tree trunk failures
An experienced International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) arborist will recognize visual signs that suggest a closer examination is warranted.
We will perform a thorough inspection of the root area, branches, and tree trunks. The results are recorded onto an ISA assessment form. The information is shared with the tree owner and an action plan put into place.
