The most important first step to determine the cause of tree or shrub decline is to conduct a Level 2 Basic tree assessment. This evaluation should be conducted by a qualified ISA Certified arborist.


Your Tree Solutions arborist will study the tree canopy, its trunk and branches looking for signs of insect or pathogen activity.  Oftentimes, we excavate the soil from around the base of a tree to examine bark tissue for diseased conditions. After that, an evaluation of the growing environment is conducted. Knowing the history of a landscape is important information that aids in making educated treatment decisions.
