Proper Pruning

It can be said that the most important decision a land manager will make is how to properly prune their trees and shrubs. In our experience, only about 20% of tree service companies employ proper pruning techniques. The repercussions of improper pruning are many.

1. Sunburnt branches. (Kills vascular system tissue)


2. Branch failure from lion's tail pruning. (A common practice)


3. Plant health decline due to root death caused by removing too many branches and leaves.
