Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

What is IPM?

"Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common-sense practices. IPM programs use current, comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interaction with the environment. This information, in combination with available pest control methods, is used to manage pest damage by the most economical means, and with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment.
IPM takes advantage of all appropriate pest management options including, but not limited to, the judicious use of pesticides." U.S. EPA

Tree Solutions arborists and Plant Health Care technicians are trained to recognize common disease and pest related issues. Decades of experience and continuous education qualifies our company to recognize an issue and identify the causal agent. We start with a Site Visit where we identify issues. Once we diagnose the cause, we then move to the next step of providing a treatment plan and its associated costs. Our plans are based on sound science and we employ Least Toxic disease and pest control methodologies.

Check our blog page for more IPM information. We will be adding to it and updating it periodically.
